pan-crisper pan was easy because is just slide in. the drawer support rail just took a screwdriver to unscrew the screw and replace it with new rail and put the screw back in. The thing I like the best is the fast service of the parts to me.
The Crisper Drawer Glass Shelf slid out of the frame while being cleaned and shattered.
The repair didn't require any tools at all. Just simply slide the new glass shelf carefully into the the frame and while holding it horizontally slide the frame back into the rails. This took less than a minute to accomplish. Very satisfied with the results.
The lower attachment of the handle needs to be put on first with the top of the handle pointing to the left of the door. Then the top part can be swung in place and screwed on easily
Open refrigerator door to gain access to top door handle mounting screws. Remove two screws at top of the handle on the refrigerator door. Slide handle up to release the bottom mount. The handle is now removed. The bottom screw remains in the door. To install the handle slide the mount onto the bottom screw and check the fit. If the fit is loose screw it in clockwise and check the fit again. Adjust the screw until the bottom fits flush with the door face. Align the top two mounting screws and snug them up. Close the door and align the bottom handle with the top handle. Open the door and do a final tighten on the top two screws. Be careful not to over tighten because you can crack it.
Don't ever tell your 11 year old to clean the refridgerator. Something will almost definetly get broken like the glass shelf, but luckily I had parts select which in no time assisted me to find the exact part. I ordered the part, it came quickly and I replaced within seconds. Thanks.
Frig area was at about 50 degrees and would not get cooler. Freezer was working great. Empty the freezer and remove the two screws that hold the back panel of the inside of the freezer on. Pull the panel out and you will see the fan that is mounted to the back of the panel. If the fan is not running, disconnect it (quick connector) and check to see if there is voltage coming to it from the connector (should be 120VAC between the two wires). If there is power, and the fan was not working, replace the fan.
Fan just snaps into the holder on the back panel and plugs into the quick connector. Make sure you clear any ice build-up in the hole between the freezer and the frig that the fans blows through. Put it back together and verify the fan runs.
overloaded the meat tray with a 3 lb package of cheese slices the right side rail broke
removed the screws in the piece of the rail that was still attached and replace with new one - hardest part was the screw it was so little I started it without the magnetic screw driver - it took about 20 minutes
My fridge temp was warm. Freezer temp was ok, but fluctuated some.
I checked the dampener, it worked. The compressor and fan worked. I knew because my freezer was still hovering around 10 degrees. Coils were clean. Thermistor was the only thing it could be. Took all my shelves out. Removed four screws. Took the back panel off. The thermistor sits tucked in on the side. I piped it out, in clipped it. Used my multimeter to test the numbers. Numbers were off just a bit. Ordered the part. Crossed my fingers.,took less then 5 minutes to put the part in. Plugged in the fridge. It was sitting at 33 degrees in about an hour and a half. I can’t believe I fixed it. I knew NOTHING about refrigerators. For how big my fridge is, it would have cost 3,000 and up to get a new one with the same cu ft size. Instead, it cost me $44. That includes shipping. Thank you Parts Select!! Made it so easy to pick the correct part for my model fridge!
- Unsnapped old light socket from top of Frig - Disconnected elect wires - Reconnected elect wires to new light socket - Snapped new socket in place - Done in less than 2 min.
No long shelf came with our new refrigerator, Frigdaire did not have one so I went on-line from you and it fit perfectly, now everything does not have to be in one big heap.
