FFHT1817LWC Frigidaire Refrigerator - Instructions

Before buying the part, I watched your video and realized it was extremely simple to remove and replace. Item was to take 7-10 days and I received it in 4. Took longer than 15 minutes because I had to move the fridge forward, get my tools and a vacuum, get a cup of coffee and get to it. Very easy and the video was exactly step by step. It took longer to vacuum all of the dust bunnies than to replace the part.

Honestly, I was in the market to buy a new refrigerator but now I believe I'll wait several more years. Thank you for your support.

The knob came in the plastic package. It was the correct part. I opened the package and placed the knob on the prongs. Now it works fine.

i opened the fridge door and slid it into place

Unscrewed old rail. Screwed on new one. Replaced drawer. Voila!

Followed instructions given on web site. My husband is not much of a handy-man, but he did these replacements in a matter of mere minutes. So happy to have the broken pieces replaced and all is working well again!

The repair was very easy to do. All I did was slip the bottom part of the new handle over the Phillips screw on the refrigerator door. Then I put the top part of the handle in place on the top of the refrigerator door. I put the 2 Phillip screws back in the top part of the handle with a Phillips screw driver.

It took less than 15 minutes to replace the old cracked handle with a new one. In the future if I need anymore parts, I will be ordering from your company again. I am happy with my order and the great service I got from the staff at Part Select. Thank you, Sandy McClaflin

I took the glass shelf out of the package and inserted it into the fridge. That simple.

Just like the video , just pull out the crisper drawers and slide the new one in. I also made sue that I had a quilt on the floor in case I dropped the glass shelf. Also if you are not sure of the model number you can try calling the store where you bought the appliance at which I had to do. I bought it at Conns and they just needed the phone number I used when I bought it.

1. Remove from box. 2. Snap into place. (30 sec.) + part arrive 2 days ahead of ETA (Ground Ship)

took the old one off and snapped the new one in place. Very easy to do.

With the excellent diagram provided by website, I was able to order the correct part. This part was not difficult to install, but so happy to know that this website provides instructions for more difficult projects.

REPLACED BACK SCREW AND SCREWED THE NEW ONE INTO PLACE,REPLACED BOTH SIDES,RIGHT AND LEFT...SUPER EASY.

Ordered two replacement shelves which were easily installed. We'll see how long they last.

I used Gorilla glue to replace the handle at the screws-pressed hard and left to dry. The replacement handle (s),( had to buy two-guess the manufacturerer expects the other one to crack too!) are hanging in the garage until the glue releases, if it does. NEVER had a refrigerator handle crack before and I am 81 yrs old. Product made to be defective as this is the second repair I've had to have on this refrig., other one a just under 1 year and concerned the freezer dripping water. The refrig is within 2 yrs. Yikes!
