This white OEM dryer door handle is used to open and close the dryer's door. Comprised of plastic and 6-by-2-inches in dimension, the handle is sold individually and attaches to the dryer door. Your dryer door may need replacing if you've accidentally pulled too hard on the door handle in opening. This will be more likely to happen over time as the material weakens through frequent use. If your handle is broken, you may no longer be able to open or close your dryer door, depending on the position your handle broke in. You'll know you need to replace this part if the locking tab has broken off, causing the handle to continually fall out.

This is a door handle made for use with dryers. This door handle is made of solid white plastic and allows you to open and close the door of the dryer. If your current dryer door handle is broken or missing, it will need to be replaced. This handle measures 9 inches long and 2 inches thick and attaches at its top and base. To replace this handle, simply pry off its left side and pull it off, and then insert the prongs on the right side into the door and push it in place. This OEM door handle is sold on its own and does not come with any other accessories.

Handle on Kenmore he3 dryer door broke off
1) Removed six smaller Phillips head screws from around the inside of the dryer door. This allowed the black plastic front piece of the dryer door to come off.2) Unscrewed the two screws holding the damaged door handle and removed the old door handle.
3) Screwed new door handle on to the black plastic front piece of the dryer door
