2. Unscrew the hinges from the door.
3. Unscrew all screws (I believe there are 7) along the 4 edges of the door.
4. Separate the front and back halves of the door. It's a tight fit, so I went through the broken handle and pushed against the ba ... Read more ck panel. It separated easily.
5. Between the door panels, find the screws and plastic screw guides that fell into the door that hold the handle to the door front panel. Unscrew them from any broken plastic formerly from the hand.
6. Remove the broken door handle and insert the new door handle. There is a ridge on the door handle that allows the sheet metal panel to fit into it as you mount it. If properly positioned the door handle will sit properly.
7. Use the screws and plastic screw guides from the old door handle to secure the new door handle to the inside of the front door panel.
8. Reassemble the door panel halves with the 7 screws you removed earlier, making sure you have the closure tab at the top and the hinge mounts on the side away from the handle.
9. Attach the hinges to the door on the side away from the handle. Make sure the hinge pins are on the outside edge, visible when the door is closed.
10. Attach the hinges (already on the door) to the front face of the dryer. (It would be easier if someone holds the door in place for you.)
11. Close the door and check for proper fit.
12. Finished. Put your screwdriver away.
