This is a 2100 watt bake element for your oven or range. The element supplies heat from the bottom of the oven to bake or cook your food. You may need to replace the bake element if your oven is not heating properly. Simply remove oven racks to access the bake element. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws that secure the element to the oven body. Electrical wires feature slip-on connectors for easy installation, but be sure to hold the wires forward so the wires do not fall back through the rear of the oven. Unplug your appliance or shut off your circuit breaker to the appliance before installing the new part.

replaced the burned out bake element in my wall oven
first, I watched the video that partselect provides, then followed the instuctions that I learned from the video, I turned off the power to the appliance, removed the oven racks, removed the screws from the plate that held the oven rack in place and gently pulled it out far enough to remove the ends of the element from the electrical cu

I am a 71 year old widow who was able to accomplish this with the good instructions provided by Partselect, this was the first time I have ever tried to do anything like this on my own.

What is the size of this element. And are the connecters slide together (like a crimped slip on )
For model number C970-47121-3 Kenmore wall oven
Hello Susan, thank you for inquiring. This Bake Element is 14.75" from the front to the mounting bracket, and 14.25" wide. The connectors do not look like what you describe as 'crimp on element connectors'. We hope this helps.

I have a Frigidaire custom imperial oven. I've removed the screws holding the baking element, but something is keeping it from sliding out. It is loose but will only come out fraction of an inch before it is hung up.Thanks
For model number REG94GBK
Hi George,
Thank you for your question. Based on customer comments regarding the installation of the bake element, you will have to lift and wiggle the element out a bit to access the electrical wires still connected to it. Once the wires are removed, you can take the element out and install the new one. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Hello Susan, thank you for inquiring. This Bake Element is 14.75" from the front to the mounting bracket, and 14.25" wide. Very sorry but I am not sure what you mean by "I" connectors. The connectors on this element are push on, not screw on and do not have a hole. Hope this helps!

If the lower heating element is bad will it affect the upper heating element.
For model number FEB24S5ABB
Hi Chuck,
Thank you for your question. When you use the bake function on the oven, both the bake and the broil element will cycle on and off to provide heat in the oven. If the oven is not heating correctly, you will need to check the elements, the temperature sensor, the electronic control board and the wiring between the parts. We have included some links that you may reference on how to check these parts. Once you have determined the part you need, please call customer service. We look forward to hearing from you!
Hello James, thank you for reaching out. We believe your oven is having this problem because of the faulty temperature sensor, part number PS820208. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. Glad to be of help!
