How do i test the Star relay if is good or bad and is there a second capacitor to be tested
For model number PDSS0MFYARSS

Hello Jesse, Thank you for the question. There is a Run Capacitor, Part #: PS11764031 you can test. You can check for continuity with a multi meter. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!

Refrigerator is not cooling but not warm freezer is working fine but frosts up and frost keeps building what could my problem
For model number TBX18JISJRAD

Hello Jeff, Thank you for the question. I suggest testing the Defrost Thermostat, PartSelect Number PS303434. The best way to do this is to remove the thermostat from the refrigerator so you can control the temperature of the sensor. You can let the sensor warm up to room temperature. With the sensor warmed up to room temperature the sensor should read approximately 6.2K Ohms at 68°F. With the thermistor submerged is a glass full of ice water, the sensor should be very close to 32°F which should read approximately 16.3K Ohms. If the values that you are getting are far off from these readings, then the sensor is bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps!

Relay
Removed back panel. Opened cover to relay attached to the compressor and pulled off replacing with new relay. No problem.

Easy Repair, and Freezing Cold Fridge!
The part works! It's amazing how well, in fact, when you purchase parts for the right model. Installation was easy enough, and this works to replace 2-wire or 3-wire relays. Thanks to customer service for tracking down the right one!

Perfect part
This saves me from buying a new fridge. Perfect replacement to get fridge working. It had power, but only light came on. Needed to replace this part and now compressor comes on.

Relay Terminals
I ordered the pictured part that had the exact same patent number as the original. The original part has one terminal. The received part has three terminals. I plugged the wire to the original position and the unit worked for awhile.
It would help if a short set of instructions was included with the part to cite which terminal to use with one wire.
Not sure why a patented part number is different than the one received.
