I would like to ask: When I took out the old front door seal and removed the back ring that holds it in place, there does not seem to be enough room facing left side to seat/secure the seal behind the black part in the way. The wire ring will not fit properly in the space at that place. It appears to closely set. It is possibly the left weight. It is so close to the rim. I have not loosened that part yet and do not know if I should try. The how to video did not show any problem fitting it between the black part and the rim. What can I do?
For model number WF42H5200AW
Hi Connie, thank you for contacting us. Based on the description that you have provided, you could have ordered the wrong door boot seal due to which it is not securing properly. The compatible door boot seal for your model is part number PS9606239. We would suggest using the compatible door boot seal. Glad to be of assistance!
