The part was the exact Briggs & Stratton replacement. Installing the new part was very easy - just used some Permatex #2 on the brass fitting and a C-clamp to insert. Removing the old part was not so straightforward. As soon as you make any attempt to get the old part out, the plastic housing will break off from the brass coupling. Instructions say to grasp the brass coupling in a vise (or vise grips, and then pry the brass coupling out. As soon as you put any pressure on the protruding section of the brass coupling, it will collapse. So I drilled out the brass coupling until it was very thin and then was able to crush it with a screwdriver and out it popped. Did this without having to remove the carburetor for the engine. Worked fine - DIDN'T LEAK!
