Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This fan blade retainer nut in your oven secures the fan blade onto the motor shaft, preventing it from coming loose during operation. You can typically find it at the back of your oven behind a cover. If you notice that the fan blade becomes wobbly or does not rotate smoothly, or your oven starts to make rattling or scraping sounds, the nut may be damaged. If the fan blade cannot spin properly, your food may cook unevenly. Your oven will also work harder and consume more energy to maintain the desired temperature. To access the nut, you will need to remove the back panel of your oven. Remove any screws or release any clips holding it using a screwdriver. To remove the nut itself, you will need either a wrench or a pair of pliers to loosen it from the motor shaft. The fan blade is sold separately from this genuine OEM nut.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Is this nut left hand thread?
For model number PLEB30S8CCC
Hi Dawn,
Thank you for your question. We do not have the information on the threads for this nut, but where it is listed under your model number, it would be the correct retainer nut for securing the fan blade to the convection fan motor. If you would like to place an order for it, you may order it either online or by calling our customer service line and anyone will be happy to assist you. We hope this helps!
