The washer will fill with water, it will pump all water out,it will spin great. But it won't wash. There is no humming sound from the motor, no burnt smell. The door latch is fine (if that was it, it wouldn't work on spin either ? I'm guessing) after it fills with water it just stops no noise like you shut it down. You can push the control knob in, turn it to the wash cycle, pull control knob back out but the washer will not start. Push control knob back in, turn it to the spin cycle, pull control knob back out and it drains & spins great. Just won't wash. What is wrong? I was thinking the washer timer but it's a $170.00 bucks and there is no refund on this parts so I'm hesitant to buy it. Because I'm not sure. Will the washer spin if the motor is bad? Thank you for your help,Tim
For model number GLET1031CS0
Hi Tim, Thank you for the question.Everything seems to be pointing to the timer being the issue. I suggest testing the timer with an Ohm meter. You can pick one up at your local hardware store of you do not have one on hand. Hope this helps!

Hello Timer, Thank you for your inquiry. Although we do not have a video or wiring instructions for this part, I was able to find the following information. For this timer the connections will be the following, Red and black wire will go to terminal B. Purple will go to terminal S, single black will go to Terminal C, Brown will go to terminal H, White will go to TM, Tan will go to terminal X and orange will go to terminal A. Hope this helps!

I have a stackable washer and Dryer. Everything works great except the dryer timer does not work. I set it for 60 min. and it dries fine but the knob stays the same. It turns off when I open it. I can turn the knob no problem to other settings and the same thing. Never turns off unless I open it!
Also, How do you find how old my unit is?
For model number FLSE72GCSA
Hello Tracey, thank you for the query. Based on our research, you may need to replace the dryer timer, part number PS418620, to fix the issue. Your model was manufactured approximately in 2003. To get the exact date, please provide us with the serial number. We hope this helps!
