Hello, The ice maker is not working, so I checked the door switch and the lights do not go off when I press the current switch; however the lights appear to go off after I close both doors (I left my phone on video in the fridge when shutting the doors and recorded the lights shutting off). Before I order and replace the switch, could this still be the issue with my icemaker even though the lights appear to go off when both doors are closed (I wasn't sure what could cause the lights to shut off since I don't see any other switches, unless there is a light/darkness sensor of some kind. Thanks

Does door interlock switch ps4138763 turn light off and start evaporator fan? I am trying to see if the evaporator fan is working, but cannot find a door switch which customarily turns off the light and powers the evaporator fan.

Does this part make a beeping sound also
For model number Rs25j500dsr/aa
Hi Rocky, thank you for reaching out. If your refrigerator is beeping, then check if the door is completely closed or not. If the inside light is not turning off and the refrigerator is beeping, then the most likely cause is the door light switch, part number PS4138763. If it is not helping, then we would recommend checking the door gasket to fix the issue. Your model comes with two gaskets, the refrigerator door gasket, part number PS4151577, and the freezer door gasket, part number PS4151579. We hope this information helps! Does the DA34-00066C make the water/ice dispenser work? Ice is being made, just not dispensing.
For model number RF26J7500SR/AA
Hello Peter, thank you for contacting us. The part you mentioned is a light switch that turns the light off when you close the door. According to our research, the issue is more related to a faulty auger motor, part number PS11758619. This motor turns the auger that pushes the ice cubes through the dispenser chute. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you require assistance placing an order. Thanks again for reaching out!
