Exact match for cracked original, but a chore to install
The part is exactly the same as the factory original. To install you remove four screws on each side of the bottom of the microwave and the whole drawer assembly comes off. It's hard to get enough traction on the three Phillips screws holding the trim in place. I wound up stripping the heads so I just broke the old part off. Use self tapping screws with a bolt head to reinstall. You'll get a much more positive grip for tightening.

Installing was easy, however, i would recommend a 12" magnetize phillips screw driver to hold the screws while you are inserting them in the holes. How do i install base plate trim part # ps3535077

Hello James, Thank you for the question. Here is a repair story left by a previous customer. "Leave the unit installed. Remove 8 screws, 4 on each side of the bottom of the drawer. It is hinged on the back but front will drop down. Remove screws attached to the white slide rails but hold bezel assembly so the spring metal on each side do no break. Look in assembly from the back to front. With a long Phillips remove the screws holding the bezel on. 3 screws. Remove old Bezel. Put new on and reassemble using the reverse. " Hope this helps!

The front plate that i push for the vent to slide out has broken off and was damaged when it fell on the hot element. My question is does the replacement part include the plastic fasteners that attach the front plate to the unit? Part #3055 looks like what i need, is that correct, if so i will order. Thank you
