Electronic Control Board

Hi Ted, Thank you for sending in your question. SY CE error code, this means there is a communications issue. This communication problem is caused by either a wiring issue, wire harness issue or faulty control board. I would start with checking to making sure the wiring is all intact and the wire harness that plugs into the control board did not come lose. If everything appears good with the wiring then you will need to replace the control board. When replacing the control board you now have to also replace the Power Board down at the bottom of the appliance behind the kick plate. The manufacture has made some changes to the parts and in order for them board to work they both need to be replaced. When removing the display trim to access the display board, use a thin plastic scraper to pry the trim off until the clips pop loose and release the trim and expose the board. Hope this helps!

Hi Anthony, Thank you for your question. If the freezer section is too warm the electronic control board is one part that you will need to check. If you can make the different selections on the control panel but the unit will only dispense crushed the issue could be the solenoid PartSelect Number: PS8691994. If you are unable to select cubed on the control panel the electronic control board PartSelect Number: PS3503319 should be replaced. I hope this helps.
