Looks better
The part itself does what it's supposed to. The only thing is that it's only the plastic overlay. It looks like that did not fix my complete problem. The buttons in the 2nd row from the right don't work on my stove. 2, 5, 8, 0. Do not work. I thought this would fix the problem. I was also getting an error. We'll this overlay stopped the error, but didn't fix the buttons. That's not this part's fault, I just needed more than the overlay. If that's your problem, you need more than the overlay, you need the whole keypad assembly. it was a little tougher than they made it seem on the video, because I disconnected the whole keypad, and realized, it's only the plastic overlay. I had to take off the overlay, which is when I noticed that it looks like there is a short in the keypad. So, it meets my needs for now, if it doesn't, I'm going to have to get the whole keypad and not just the overlay.

Not the part I needed
Even after doing extensive research, this is not the part I needed. So back to the drawing board.

Needed to change electronic control board
Unplug appliance. Removed back plate cover with 1/4" nut driver (6 screws). Removed old control board with Philips screwdriver (4 screws). Pulled out 5 old connectors. Were a little difficult to get out, had to delicately use a flat head screwdriver to pry loose as not to break the connector. Installed new overlay on new control board

I have an F11 error message. I turned off the range and used a hair dryer to heat the control panel and pressed the overlay with my hand and started it again. It worked for about 3 hours and again started. Giving me F11 error message. Is the problem with the overlay or control panel. After I heated and pressed the panel everything worked ok.

Hi Don,
Thank you for your question. The F11 touchpad is referring to a shorted touchpad. If you have tried to trouble shoot the problem and it is still not working correctly, you will need to replace the overlay. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

I am wondering if it is possible to buy the overlay with the board that's behind it. I believe my overlay buttons are not working. The rightmost columns of buttons is not working including the cancel button (3 6 9 Cancel). Can you please guide me on which part I should purchase?
For model number CGEF3055MFE
Hello Hani, thank you for your question. We have researched the model you have provided, and we would suggest the Overlay - Black, part number PS3502444, and the Electronic Control Board, part number PS9494056. We hope this helps!
The only function that works via keypad is the timer. When i try to program bake / broil etc. Temp displays 100 but will not heat. I ordered a temp probe from you and replaced it. No change. Gas burners work properly. Very hopeful you can guide me to the right replacement part. Very kind regards, veronica

Hello Veronica, thank you for your question. It sounds like the electronic control panel is bad. The replacement part number is PartSelect Number PS3502452. If the oven selection buttons won't work, and the probe was replaced the board should be replaced. I hope this helps!

The stove will have a beep sound at random times, very annoying, when the stove and oven are off, or on. The only way to stop it is to trip the breaker, some times it will be quiet for 10 minutes or 3 days, but when it randomly starts it will beep a couple of times and be quiet for a random period of time with nothing on or touching, do you think this may be an overlay problem on the range, or is the entire panel gunnysack?
For model number FGEF3058RFA
Hi Rick,
Thank you for your question. When the beeping occurs is there an error code? If there is an error code consult your owner's manual to see what may be causing it. If you oven is beeping randomly, check and see if the timer has been set unintentionally. If it is the timer, cancel it. Check your control panel as well. If you have a stuck key, this may be a reason why you are hearing the beeping. We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let us know.
Most of the buttons on touchpad work except 3, 6, 9, cancel. I think it is the ribbon as I seems to have some scratching and not all "lanes" solid black. Does the touchpad come with a new ribbon? Or would it be just a bad touchpad? Control panel works for all other buttons.
For model number CGEF3055MFG
Hello Janet, Thank you for the question. The Ribbon is only sold as part of the Electronic Control Board, so the Electronic Control Board will need to be replaced. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
After wiping clean the control panel, I got an F11 error and the oven and stove doesn't work. This happened at least 3 times. In each instance, we left the range unplugged overnight and it worked the next day. Why is it so sensitive to touch? Do we need to replace the control board or the overlay and how do we determine this? We are not technicians. To have someone replace the control board is almost the cost of a new range.
For model number CGEF3059RFA
Hello Sharon, thank you for reaching out. The F11 error code on your Frigidaire range indicates that the keypad is shorted. We suggest that you replace the control board, part number PS9494056, to resolve this issue. We have also attached a relevant video to assist you with the installation by yourself. If you need help placing an order, please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
My frigidaire gallery oven touch panel is not working. We ordered another one, looks just like the current one EXCEPT there are no wires coming out of it to connect it to the control module. Can't find any place that sells a touch panel with wires?
For model number FGGF3054MFC
Hi Craig, thank you for reaching out. We have found that the part you are referring to is the control panel overlay, part number PS3502444. It just comes over the control board without any wires. We have attached the video for your understanding. Glad to be of assistance!

i have a c-f2 code on my samsung Gas-range
For model number NX60A6311SS
Hi Sandrell, thank you for your inquiry. The C-F2 error code occurs when a communication problem is maintained between the touchpad and the main control board. We would suggest turning off the power for 30 seconds or more and then reconnect. If the error reappeared, then you may have a defective touchpad, part number PS16634292, and needs to be replaced to fix the issue. We hope that helps!
