Ice maker ejector does not return to home after ejecting ice cubes, only returned 1/2 way so it does not refill.
For model number ED25PWXAW00
Hi BJ,
Thank you for your question. If the ejector arm is not going back down after ejecting ice, it may be worn or there may be an issue where it is connected to the ice maker. If the issue is not where the part is connected to the ice maker, the ejector arm may need to be replaced. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Ice maker stopped making ice.
This was really easy to do thanks to comments posted on the Partselect web site and the instructions included in the package. I removed three screws, unplugged the wire harness using a small screw driver to "unlock" the harness, removed the old ice maker assembly from the freezer, and reversed the process with the new assembly. Saved the valve and other parts for future use. The new unit started making ice within an hour or two. Very cool!

Ice maker broken
I had already removed the old Ice maker, so it was no longer in.
When the new ice maker arrived, I simply pluged it in, replaced the screws that hold it in place and turned the water back on to the ice maker.
It was that easy.

Ice maker Short lived
We purchased this ice maker in early August. It is now March 2 and it's already gone out! It's so disappointing! I'd be better off buying a new fridge at this point.

Easy-Peasy
I was surprised to find the ice-maker for a 20 year old (but good quality Kitchen Aide) fridge, but this one was it. Arrived and was a pretty simple install.
