Piece of Plastic inside timer broke off, Lint filter had holes in it
1. Placed new Timer knob on connector
2. Removed old Lint Filter with frame and replaced with new one
Old lint filter frame broken. Super glue and duct tape held it together as last resort.
Removed old filter and inserted new filter. Voila!

Dryer timer function stopped working & The Dryer will not shut off also, The Lint Filter was torn..
I unscrewed the backside top part of the dryer with a 5/16 nut driver then, removed the damaged timer assuring I marked the wires harness correctly with the new timer. I removed the damaged timer and inserted the new timer I then replaced and screwed in the backside top of the dryer. The Lint Filter with frame removed without difficulty
... Read more(without any tools) and, I installed the new Lint Filter with frame with no trouble. The Job was completed in less then 12 minutes.
All I had to do was take the old filter out and put to new one in. It was easy and took less than a minutes time.

The lint filter on my dryer was cracked in two different places and I needed a replacement.

I need a new lint filter for my GE dryer. The booklet that came with the dryer states models dde7905s dde7900s ddg7985s ddg7980s and i am not sure which one i have. On the door it has dde7900svlww and i think that one i saw on your website is the right one but i wanted to make sure before ordering. I would appreciate any help you can give me. My dryer is still going strong but it needs a new filter. Thank you

Kenmore dryer filter. Plastic part that attaches to the filter is broken. The whole filter is approximately 7 by19. Really only need the plastic part.

This is the only numbers I can read on my hotpoint dryer its missing letter or letters model # is VR305142H I need a new lint trap for my dyer I think I found it on here but can you see what you find
