The part is working as expected so far. The only reason I’m giving 4, not 5, stars is because one of the tongs that plugs into the stove was pretty severely bent when I received it. It was bent inwards and downwards and I was a little apprehensive to try to straighten it because I was afraid I’d break it and then have trouble/hassle returning it. I was also afraid I wouldn’t be able to line it up with the plug on my stove after I had to bend it back. I went for it anyway because I needed the burner and luckily it worked out. I had also purchased 3 drip pans that were packed in the same box, it could have gotten bent bouncing around one of those during shipment, I don’t know. My suggestion is some bubble wrap around such a ‘sensitive’ part.

8" oven burner quit working - wouldn't heat up
Parts ordered from Part Select arrived 2 days! after being ordered even though we selected standard shipping.
Old generic poorly fitting bowls were removed, replaced with correct GE chrome bowls from Part Select, changed out 8" surface burner and it feels like we have a new stove! It looks great. All the surface burners fit pe

I will definately be using PartSelect. for all my appliance repairs.
Burner was not working and the local appliance store could not locate a part so I decided to repair it myself
I easily removed the element, then the socket I followed the wiring down beneath the drip pan to where it plugged into the control knob. I simply unplugged the old part and plugged in the new socket, rerouted the wires and assembled the stove top with a new burner in place.

Bought recommended replacement burners but they don’t fit at all. About 1/4” x 1/2” too long. Won’t fit in drip pans either.
