The display when set to bake will show 350 degrees and the convection fan is running and I can hear the relay for the oven burner cycle on and off. The oven will not heat at all and when I try the broiler it also does not come on. What might be the problem? Thanks Ed

Hello Edward, Thank you for the question. I suggest testing the Oven Probe, PartSelect Number PS1528542. Testing the temperature sensor probe on your oven is easy. With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. If the Probe is good, you may have a defective Electronic Oven Control Board, PartSelect Number PS2345254. Hope this helps!
The oven is taking over an hour to for the oven to reach 350 and even when displays 350 the fan and oven will not stop. Keeps heating and fan continues to heat causing oven to overheat way beyond selected temperature. This is happening no matter what temperature we select and in regular bake selection. We have tested the temperature probe and it is testing accurately. Is this something a defective EOC would cause.

Hi Brenda,
Thank you for your question. If the oven is not heating correctly, the issue may be with the oven temperature sensor. The oven temperature sensor monitors the oven temperature and signals the electronic control board to turn the elements on and off. Before removing this part from the oven and testing it for continuity with a multimeter on the Rx1 setting, unplug the oven from the electrical outlet. This test needs to be done with the sensor at room temperature to produce accurate results. The reading should be between 1080 and 1100 ohms. If you get any other reading, you need a replacement temperature sensor. If the sensor is fine, you will need to check the elements, the electronic control board, and the wiring between the parts to see which part is causing the issue. We hope this helps with the repair!
