Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
The charcoal filter, used in microwaves, removes food odors from the air. If your filter is damaged or you notice strong odors coming from your microwave, it is best to replace it. This part is metallic and measures about 12 inches wide and 6 inches deep. The tool required for this repair is a Phillips screwdriver. First, remove screws at the top of microwave to access the filter. Next, remove the old filter and insert new filter by pushing it all the way back, so the edges connect to the two tabs. The front edge of the filter should rest at the bottom of the cavity. Do not forget to replace the grill after installing new filter. Remember to unplug your microwave from the power source before installation process.

REPLACE OLD FILTERS-2 Sets
Requires 2 sets of replacement parts. Prior filters included a charcoal filter sandwiched between 2 aluminum filters/screens (3 total parts per side). Replacement charcoal filter was already attached to an aluminum screen so just needed to add 1 aluminum screen/filter so the charcoal was again sandwiched between the 2.

Disconnect the power to the oven then just remove the center grill on top of the microwave then remove the screw attaching the left side grill and remove the grill this will allow access to the upper screw holding the left side panel then open the oven door and use a long slender Torx driver to remove the t

Read morewo screws in the side of the panel then remove the screw holding the left side lamp cover and remove the cover and then remove the left side air intake screen this will allow access to the wiring to the switches and the connector that must be disconnected to allow removal of the side panel, the connector has a small tab that must be depressed to separate the connector, be certain to disconnect the wiring before attempting to remove the side panel as the wiring is too short to allow removal of the side panel while the wiring is connected, after the wiring is disconnected the side panel can be pulled away from the oven it is simply clipped in place and will be removed by pulling it straight toward you after the panel is removed two screws hold the switch circuit board to the side panel, the buttons are part of a fragile plastic tree that is sandwiched between the side panel and the circuit board use care when installing the replacement buttons and circuit board my replacement buttons needed to be reformed by slight hand pressure to make them fit properly. To reassemble just follow the same steps in reverse order. This is a simple operation that can be done in about an hour.
Remove the filters and use a Torx driver to remove two screws holding the motor. The wires on on the motor are held in place by a plastic clamp that must be pried open on one side. That's all it takes to replace the drive motor. Everything else that makes the turntable spin lifts off from inside the microwave.
