We purchased this to replace the pump in our GE dishwasher that died. And now we’re having issues with the diverter connection leaking. Are we missing something?
For model number GDF640HSM2SS
Hello Sarah, thank you for getting in touch. Check the seals and gaskets around the diverter motor shaft for signs of wear, damage, or improper seating. Also, check the clamp, part number PS6011682, to make sure it is tight. If the clamp is loose, water can leak. If the motor is not installed correctly, it will leak water. If the diverter motor is still leaking, the diverter motor seal is likely also bad. This seal is not sold separately, it is only sold as part of the sump assembly, part number PS11729192. We hope this helps.
