Does this have anything to do with my heating element going out? Like do I need to purchase this with my element?

Hello Nathan, thank you for your inquiry. The part you mentioned includes the wire harness and the thermal fuse. The wire harness supplies power to electrical components in the dishwasher, and the thermal fuse shuts the dishwasher off if the dishwasher shorts out or overheats. We would recommend only replacing the heating element if it is faulty. Glad to be of help!

I replaced the heating element but washer still is not keeping the water hot or drying dishes properly. Suggestions?
