Hi! Looking for a little help. Trying to remove rear panel from inside freezer to check defrost thermostat. This model has the dome light. Can you help me on how to remove the freezer light lens? Pulling forward and down on the tab/finger-slot area, just to the rear, does not seem to be working for me? Pulling pretty hard. Once i get that, is it a simple matter to unscrew from above the bulb, plus the two screws at the top of the panel to remove it? Thanks for all assistance!!

Hi Pat,
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately the only way to remove the light lens is by pushing back on the tab on the circular side and then pulling down. I do not know of any other way to uninstall this part. You may have to speak directly to your manufacturer for further assistance. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
