Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This genuine OEM door lock is a replacement part specially designed for front-load washing machines. It is a safety mechanism designed to prevent the door from being opened during the wash cycle. When the door is closed, the lock engages automatically, securing the door shut until the cycle is complete and it is safe to open. This ensures that water and detergent do not spill out of the washer and cause injury. Over time, the door lock may fail due to physical damage or normal wear and tear. If the door lock is faulty, you may encounter issues such as the door not locking properly, leading to the washer not starting or stopping mid-cycle. You may also notice excessive noise and shaking while the washer is running.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Door is shown on display no allowing washer to work, I have replaced the door switch twice. 1. First replaced had electrical smell after humming a couple minutes, stopped working. 2. Second replacement started working for 10 seconds and quickly showing door on display again.Could it be the control board?? Thanks in advance for answering my issue.

Hi Ray, thank you for reaching out. As you have already replaced the door switch two times, the issue could be with the main control board, part number PS17874601. It manages and coordinates all the washer's functions. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
Hello Christopher, thank you for reaching out. The error code E23 means flood protection drain. Flood protection drain is basically a drain mode that gets “ON” when the washer is in shiftless condition and the control regulates that the washer is overflowing by checking the water level control input. We recommend checking the water inlet valve, part number PS12743643. We hope this sorts out your problem!
