Microwave does not close or latch, Light stays on
The Frigidaire oven the stove microwave latch is designed to fail. The mechanism is operated by the thinnest plastic hook secured to a fairly strong spring. When the hook breaks the latch no longer works so the light stays on and the microwave is inoperable. The hardest part of the repair is removing the door and reinstalling. Instruction

LATCH 5304522796... Does it come with the springs with it? If not, can you provide the part number as well? I need the complete set so I can install it.

When pushing-in door open latch door will not unlock. If you find the sweet spot after numerous attempts it will open. It seems to unlock when and only when the left corner is pushed in.

Thank you for your question. If you have to adjust the door so it will shut, we recommend checking the bracket that holds the door switches to make sure it has not shifted. If it has shifted, reposition it and check the switches with a multimeter to see if they are working correctly. We hope this helps!
