Carb 594058. My mower 21462 Toro has this carb. Will not run longer then 10 seconds. Stops like it is out of gas. I bought it new 4/28/2022. What is wrong?
For model number 104M020010F1
Hello Mike, thank you for your inquiry. Remove fuel lines and clean. Empty and clean gas tank. Over time, carburetors tend to gum up and may require an internal cleaning. You should clean them with a carburetor cleaner and a soft brush on the inside. A quick way to do this is run the engine, revving it up while spraying the inside with carburetor cleaner, and using the brush to get the heavier deposits. Check for any missing, weak, or broken springs that control the carburetor butterfly valves. Make sure your air filter is clean. If this does not help, we recommend replacing the spark plug, part number PS9959619. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
