Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). This dishwasher user interface control assembly serves as the main panel for selecting wash cycles, settings, and options on your appliance. It houses the buttons and indicator lights that allow you to start, customize, and monitor each cycle, restoring smooth, responsive operation when the original interface becomes worn or unresponsive. Designed for use in a variety of dishwashers within the same product family, it provides a reliable OEM fit and function. For safety, power to the appliance must be disconnected before installation to prevent electrical hazards.

My dishwasher has water still left at the bottom of the tub when the cycle is complete. The pump works properly because whenever you press and hold the start button, it does drain the leftover water. I suspect that the dishwasher is not completing the last drain cycle. Is this issue related to this board assembly, or is there another part I should consider? Thank you.
For model number FFCD2418US1A
Hello Labinot, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description that you have provided, the issue is likely related to the float switch rather than the control board. If the float switch is stuck in the “up” position or has debris around it, the board might falsely detect an overfill or incorrect water level, interrupting the cycle before the final drain. Make sure the float moves freely up and down and that no food debris is preventing its operation. We would suggest checking it, the part number is PS3492842. We hope this information helps!
