Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This is a drain pump kit for dishwashers. The drain pump for is responsible for pulling out and removing all contaminated food water from your dishwasher during and at the end of its washing cycle. If you notice water standing in your dishwasher after the cycle is over, or if you experience and notice leaks underneath your dishwasher, the pump will likely need to be replaced. This drain pump kit comes with the drain itself, as well as 5 different metal screw clamps of varying sizes. Replacing this drain pump will require some disassembly of your dishwasher, which means you will need a screwdriver, wrench, and protective equipment such as work gloves. This drain pump is sold as an individual OEM part, and does not come with any hoses or wire harnesses, so consider that before ordering.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Simple repair. Solved the problem of water not draining from the dishwasher
GE DDT595SSJSS Adora Dishwasher
I had often had water in the bottom of my dishwasher after the cycle was supposed to be complete. Sometimes it drained, sometimes it didnt. If I forced a drain by starting a new cycle and cancelling it, I could eventually get it to drain.
Installed the new pump and zero problems since.

Water would not drain
The repair was just like the video that the agent sent me. And while I had the unit out of the cabinet I installed a part I have had for months which I ordered before I realized I had to take the unit out of the cabinet: the part was the seal for the bottom of the door. I recommend if you are ordering a pump order this part too an it is

Dishwasher stopped draining.
We I installed a new dishwasher pump. It was simple and easy. I did it myself. My husband removed the clamps holding the dishwasher in the cabinet. Then he turned it in it's side and I replaced the old pump for an identical one that I ordered from this site. Easy peasy, took all of 15 minutes. You've got this. Don't call a repair man and

The dishwasher stopped draining.
1. Turn off the water. 2. Turn off the power to the dishwasher. 3. Pulled out the dishwasher. 4. Tilted it forward and to the side with a bowl to collect the water at the bottom. 5. Carefully laid the dishwasher on its side 6. Removed the existing pump. Make note of its orientation before removing (maybe ta

The pipe clamps were not the adjustable, reusable kind but the replacement part came with several. 7. Put the new pipe clamps on the hoses (the supply and discharge side) so they're in place. 8. Installed the replacement pump by pushing it on to the supply then the discharge hoses. 9. Move the clamps into place and tighten. 10. Reconnect the power wire. 11. Stand the dishwasher up. 12. Turn on the power and water. 13. Run a quick test to make sure it's working and doesn't leak. 14. Push it back in to place and reattach it to the cabinets.

Replace the DW drain pump
Pretty easy repair, since I installed the DW, so knew how it went in, turn off breaker, shut off & disconnect water, disconnect drain line into disposal, siphoned water out of bottom collection basin below sump filter. Slid DW out from under counter & laid on it's side.
Glad I watched a YouTube video so I knew to pry

Dishwasher would not empty. After cycle there was water in the bottom.
Very easy repair. Remove wiring harness that is a simple click. Remove 2 hose clamps. Take off the old pump and install the new one. It is that simple. It is way more work to turn off the water, unscrew the dishwasher from the counter, slide the dishwasher out, turn it on it's side, then have to put it all back in, with the isulation

Dishwasher was not draining.
I listened to the DW cycles to be sure it was the drain pump (no water passes through discharge tube). We already had checked inside filter and our drain line. I watched video and saw it was a simple change. We unplugged and removed the pump and the new one fit exactly-it came with several clamps. Very simple & effective!
