The water filter housing I am replacing is grey in color. The replacement part found on line is white. Does that matter. Replacement part number I used is
W11162041. The number on the housing unit taken off for replacement is:
W10899414. I could not find for online purchase the a housing unit with that number.

Will this part let the water pass thru when you take the filter out ? Water will not go thru the filter but when I take it out it will dispense water . I tried 2 diff filters.

I am looking for the spring door for the water filter. Is there a separate part for that or do i need to buy the entire filter housing?
