Cycle will fill and wash, but will not advance to rinse and spin turns off.

Will cycle fill and wash but does not advance. Lid lock is working properly. Fills with cold warm and hot water, will drain. When turn to drain and spin, will start to drain but the will not spin.

On Wash Cycle it fills with water and just sets there quietly until it dumps the water and progresses to rinse. Washer locks lid and spins normally? What can cause this?

I also am having the EXACT same problem with my unit. It finishes washing the clothes and then just sits there with the green "wash" light lit and will not advance to the "spin" function so Everytime I wash a load of clothes, I have to use a 'workaround' proceedure and actually set the main selection knob to the "drain & spin" option and Only Then it will finish the wash cycle so as far as I know, the Lid Switch is not the issue at all with my unit.
Can some Please let me know if this CNTRL-ELEC part will likely fix this issue if it is likely to be caused by a circuitry malfunction based on what the unit itself is doing? (This unit was made in 2017 as is Quite Old). THANKS for Any help regarding this issue!
