Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. This is a knob designed for use with cooktop burners. This knob is used to control the heat setting of the corresponding burner on the cooktop. If your current control knob is missing, visually damaged, or simply not adjusting the temperature of its burner properly, it needs to be replaced. Featuring a stainless-steel finish, this knob is easily replaceable, as the old one simply needs to be pulled off its shaft, and the new one pushed on to install. replacement knobs
The knobs arrived beautifully packed and fit perfectly. They needed replaced because I had put old ones in top rack of dishwasher and the finish, which is some kind of foil like paper, peeled off. I have always put knobs in dishwasher and never had a problem

Is the price of part #29 per knob or for a set of knobs and with this unit only being a month old am I to expect the chrome coating to wear off as quickly on a new part?
