Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This blower housing thermostat is an essential safety and performance component for many dryers, regulating internal temperatures to prevent overheating while ensuring efficient drying. Installed directly in the blower housing, this compact thermostat monitors airflow temperature and helps maintain proper heat levels throughout each cycle. When it begins to fail, you may notice symptoms such as the dryer running without producing heat, overheating and shutting off, or taking significantly longer to dry clothes. As a genuine OEM part, it provides reliable operation and restores safe, consistent performance when replacing a worn or defective thermostat.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

My dryer works but wouldn't heat. Purchased your part number 5304511424. Installed it on my dryer and now dryer works but the time will not adjust and it won't move from high heat while in normal mode.
For model number FFRE4120SW
Hello Gary, thank you for contacting us. Based on the description that you have provided, the issue is most probably with the control board, part number PS12718301. It manages the functions of the dryer, such as drying time and temperature. We would recommend replacing it to solve the problem. Glad to be of assistance!
I sent a previous email about the install of your replacement thermostat. The numbers on my old thermostat are PTS-34N. 3098. N70.
For model number FFRE4120SW
Hi Gary, Thank you for writing. The PTS-34N. 3098. N70 would not be a part number and may change over time. The Thermostat on the blower housing for this model is listed as PartSelect #: PS12176545. We hope this helps!
