This genuine OEM switch assembly is installed on the engine of your lawn and garden equipment. It consists of a plastic switch with an attached lead wire and is responsible for controlling the power supply to the engine. By toggling the switch on or off, it enables you to start or stop the machine. The switch assembly is typically secured on the engine shroud. If the switch assembly is malfunctioning, your engine will fail to respond to it. This can be due to a broken assembly or loose wiring connections. You can perform an electrical continuity test using a multimeter to verify its functionality. To replace the assembly, refer to your user guide to locate it on your machine. Disconnect the lead wire and unthread the tapping screws securing the assembly to the engine shroud. Once removed, you can detach it from your machine. Please note that the hardware required to secure the new assembly is not included and needs to be purchased separately.
