Does the entire cabinet top require removal to install a new top bearing assembly? I’m trying to avoid removing the dryer from its closet ‘home’ and am reluctant to manhandle the front bulkhead to gain access. I have found nothing on line regarding this model GE.

I am looking to purchase the two small felt glide pads that are attached to GE Part# WE03X25314 as mine are worn down. I don't see anywhere on the parts diagram where they are listed nor can I find the felt pieces for sale. Are they only included in the front bearing assembly piece (diagram number 319, part WE03X2531 or diag 313 part WE03X23956)? Can they be made by cutting two small pieces from a drum felt seal? I am not looking for parts WE3M52 or WE3M51 as they are intact on the original part and can be reused.

Hi the whole piece on the top part came off of the dryer. I bought what I thought I needed to buy which is the bearing slide too but I’m trying to fiqure out does this dryer also need a bearing assembly? The the dryer need both of them to function correctly
