WATER DISPENSER RUNS CONTINUALY. WILL NOT SHUT OFF THE FLOW OF WATER.
For model number WRF535SWHV02
Hello William, Thank you for the question. If there is no wear or damage to the Water Line Guide, we suggest testing the Water Valve. Set your multitester to the R X 1 ohms setting to test for continuity. Place each of the multitester's leads on a terminal. Your multitester should display a reading between 200 and 500 ohms. Closely examine your water inlet valve. The exact ohm resistance rating you should test for may be marked on the valve. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
Will replacing this part stop a slow dripping leak?
For model number Krfc300ess01
Hello Tanya, thank you for getting in touch. If the water filter was just replaced or installed, ensure the filter was installed correctly. Try removing the water filter and re-installing it. Flushing the system is needed every time the filter is changed or once the refrigerator is installed to the water supply line for the first time. The air in the water system can cause several issues. If this is not the issue, we would recommend replacing the water inlet valve, part number PS11754529. Good luck with your repair!
