The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This is a lower spray arm for a dishwasher. The lower spray arm allows water to be spread evenly throughout the dishwasher tub with the proper force so dishes come out clean. This spray arm is gray in color and is about 20 inches long. You may need to replace this part if the water is not being distributed.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Dishwasher was leaking a lot, 1-2 cups of water
Changed the seal first, very easy, no tools needed either. Helped a little, but still leaking a lot. Changed the lower spray arm and that did it. The video I watched before changing the seal helped a lot, definitely do that first.

Dishes were not getting cleaned and water was coming out the bottom of the door
The top and bottom parts of the lower wash arm were separating. This caused water to spray out the ends of the wash arm and come out the front of the dishwasher. In addition this water was not spraying upward resulting in dishes not getting cleaned. Took me a while to figure this out but the repair was simple.
Lower spray arm had a small seam split forcing waves of water against the lower door causing water to leak out the door bottom.
After replacing the door seal and the dishwasher still leaked a lot of water out the bottom of the door, I read posts by a couple of other DIY who said the lower spray arm can split at the seam and cause this. One post noted it is very difficult to determine if this is the problem, that you may have to take the blade of a screwdriver and
... Read more try to pry the seam apart gently to see if a gap does appear with very little force being applied. If so, then just imagine what happens when that very hot water makes that plastic more flexible and then the seam opens and forces waves of water against the lower door. I could see a small seam split using that strategy and when I replaced the spray arm, my leak stopped. I don't regret replacing the door seal as it had a couple of small tears and hard water deposits all over it, so it was time to do that even though it was not the culprit for the extensive leak. The arm is SO EASY to replace, just twist the plastic nut under it and it pops right off. Put the new one on and twist the nut the other way and it secures it.

Arm sprayer had broken
Something had been loaded in the dishwasher that had gone thru the basket - it hit the arm sprayer and broke it off.
Replacement sprayer was exactly the same - the partselect website has very specific identification method so you get the proper part. You must have your model number.
I watched a you tube video whic
... Read moreh was referred by part select. This was helpful.
I did not realize at first that only part of the arm sprayer had broken off. The arm sprayer broke off, but there is a base to the arm sprayer that was still attached to the dishwasher. So I could not, of course , fit the new arm with its base over the existing base because they are the same size. Once I realized this, it was a simple replacement, following the youtube instructions. You do have to press and turn counter clockwise to get the old base off, but once that was done, the new sprayer arm, which arrived attached to the base, easily fit, and press hard to turn it clockwise to reattach it..
It has worked perfectly. It is a hard turn to get the arm sprayer off or on, which is good so it doesn't come loose during washing, but when replacing it, you aren't sure of why it won't turn. It is a hard turn. Watch the you tube video.

The filter came out and pushed the arm up on the burner and melted it.
The air just unscrews with one twist and the new arm twist right back on. No tools needs. Saved me $100 service call.

After cleaning the filter basket & metal grill (floor of dishwasher), I neglected to secure the bottom spray arm. It came loose, landed on the heating coil, and melted.
I simply removed the melted spray arm, then set the new spray arm in place, twisted the built-in securing nut (clockwise to its stop), and it worked without any problems.

Dishwasher fills up but does not spray or clean dishes. I have cleaned the filter removed spray arms and ran water through the spray arms with no obstructions.
For model number WDT780SAEM1
Hi Deborah,
Thank you for your question. If your dishwasher is not cleaning or spraying water onto the dishes, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which ones are causing the issue. You will need to check the turbidity sensor, the heating element, the pump, the motor, the hoses and the water inlet valve. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

The lower sprayer arm came off and landed on the element and melted so it needs to be replaced. I can’t find my model number on this site. Is there another model number that the part would fit my model?
Thanks
For model number WDF310PAAS5
Hi Rachel, thank you for the great question. The lower spray arm that would fit in your model is part number PS11753223. We hope this information helps!
Hello Joe, Thank you for your inquiry. We recommend first checking the bottom door seal attached to the inner door panel as well as the tub gasket. If neither part shows any wear and tear, then we recommend checking the water inlet valve, the drain pump and the drain hose. Good luck with your repair.
Does the lower washer arm also replace the top washer arm?
For model number Wdf330pahw4
Hi Robert,
Thank you for your question. The middle and lower wash arms are different parts. The part number for the middle spray arm is PS11755664. The part number for the lower spray arm is PS11755592. We hope this helps!
Lower spray arm came off and heating element melted it so I ordered a new part. Received and replaced the spray arm. Did a load of dishes and when done, the spray arm had come off again. It's not that difficult to replace so I'm not sure what I could have done wrong. This time, it only melted a little bit so the arm is still usable. What would cause this to happen?
For model number WDF560SAFT2
Hi Phyllis, thank you for contacting us. Based on the description you have provided, we would recommend checking that the lower spray arm is properly fitted in the pump housing, part number PS11755007. If the issue still persists, you may need to replace the pump housing to fix the issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!
