Introducing a genuine OEM sump pump assembly from Whirlpool, suitable for select models of KitchenAid, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Amana, Inglis, and Magic Chef appliances. This sump and seal assembly is a critical component designed for dishwashers. It includes the sump responsible for holding water beneath the dishwasher tub, along with a reliable seal, often referred to as a gasket, which plays a critical role in preventing leaks between the sump and the tub. For best results, ensure to unplug your dishwasher and cease the water supply prior to the installation of this part. For your safety, we highly recommend wearing work gloves while executing this task. Trust Whirlpool's dependable parts for optimal operation and longevity.

No water spraying in tub
For model number WDP350PAAB5
Hi Bill, Thank you for the question. I suggest checking the pump and motor, PartSelect Number: PS11726336. The pump sounds like it is defective and not circulating the water. Hope this helps!

Starts, water comes from somewhere by sprayer arms don't turn, gets hot, soap box opens, then nothing. When you press the cancel/drain it empties just fine. No child lock set, have tried unplugging/replugging, doesn't matter what wash you select, cleaned recently with no jammed/clogged parts, door latches fine. What's happening?
For model number WDF520PADM7
Hi, thank you for reaching out. We would suggest checking the spray arms for any clogging first. If they are fine, the issue could be with the circulation pump, part number PS16744934. It is responsible for circulating water throughout the dishwasher during the wash and rinse cycles. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
i going to try to explane this. i have a long black ribbon that is comeing out of the filter unit. i dont know if it is part of the dishwasher or if some thing is stuck in it, i can't pull it out, don't know if it is part of a seal or what, it is very thin but very strong. it has a loop on one end

The dishwasher starts, sprays and fills up no draining. I'm guessing this would prevent the heater from turning on I hope. What could be the part I need? Drain pump? Sump pump?
For model number Wdf510payda
Hi Daniel, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description you have provided, we would recommend checking the drain hose for clogging. If it is fine, then you may need to replace the drain pump, part number PS11753379, to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

my dishwasher is 10 years old and I have noticed that it is not steam drying and dishes have water drops on them now?
For model number WDT710PAYM0
Hi Mary,
Thank you for your question. If your dishwasher is not steam drying, the vent may not be opening and moisture will be left on your dishes. If the vent is stuck it will need to be replaced. We hope this helps!
The gasket at the bottom of the dishwasher tub is disintegrating, does the whole sump have to be replaced or is the gasket available alone? Otherwise in great working order.
For model number MDB7949SDZ0
Hi Ben, thank you for contacting us. The gasket for the sump is not listed separately. It comes attached to the sump, part number PS11755471. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope that helps!
