My kitchen aid stove doesn’t stop clicking
For model number Ksgg700ess1
Hello Robert, thank you for your question! The clicking noise is the electrodes sparking to ignite the gas. If you ensured all the burners are in the off position and it is still clicking, then you have a short somewhere. If you had a spill or done some cleaning and moisture has gotten into the switches, it could cause this to happen. If you are sure no moisture has been able to get into the switches, then you will need to replace the spark switch harness, part number PS12728540. We hope that helps!
Stove is clicking when off gas lights burner but doesn’t stop clicking
For model number Esgg700ess1
Hello Robert, thank you for your question! The clicking noise comes when the electrodes spark continuously to ignite the gas. If you ensured all the burners are in the off position and it is still clicking, then you have a short circuit somewhere. Dry the switches if there is a moisture. If you are sure no moisture has been able to get into the switches, then you will need to replace the spark switch harness, part number PS12728540. We hope that helps!
