I ask about the wattage on the halogen bulbs in my KitchenAid kebs209b oven and you responded yesterday that it was 40watt. I found the owners guide last night and it said they were 120v 5watt halogen bulbs. I know the voltage is right. But, the wattage seems to low. Now i am not sure which one is correct what you guys say or what the owners guide says.

The model number that you provided is missing the last two numbers that finish it off but it looks like all of the models use the same bulb. The owners manual says the oven bulb for this model is a 120 volt 5 watt maximum with kitchenaid replacement part number PS11755306, yet the manufacturer replacement bulb WPW10472384 also W10472384 are 40 watt. Is the manual wrong or is the manufacturer wrong? Is the 40 watt bulb too strong for this replacement?
