I let the new gasket warm up in the sun on a concrete pad while I removed the freezer drawer face. Mine was a simple procedure of loosening 4screws and lifting the drawer face straight up. Old gasket pulled out very easily. I cleaned the groove of any moisture and debris. The new gasket, now more pliable, was easily installed by starting in a corner and pressing in the groove around the perimeter. After reattaching the drawer face, the close was nice, tight, and has a good "magnetic pull" to it.

The gasket that matched our make and model for the freezer when installed in the groove designed to hold the gasket did not meet the frame of the unit consequently it allowed air to enter the freezer area causing the entire inside side of the freezer and its contents to be covered with a thick layer of ice.

Freezer freezing up. Frost everywhere.
Old gasket pulled of easily with no tools. New gasket was placed on floor and heated with blow dryer to straighten. Then installed new gasket by pressing in with my hands. Noticed that the old gasket was hard and not flexible. All was great. Fit perfectly. No frost after a week. Happy.

Door Gasket had a tear in it.
To repair the problem,I ordered a new gasket. Once I received the gasket, I laid it flat on the floors and hot the blow dryer and blow out the creases in the gasket. took about 15 min just took off gasket with flat screwdriver cleaned and put it on no glue it has magnets very easy
