Not turning on/Not engaging all selections
Removed timer knob on front. Removed hex head screws from the back of top panel using pliers to loosen and then screw driver to remove. Removed screws from old timer to remove it from the front panel. Took a photo of where the wires plugged into the timer (in case I was interrupted, I could go back to reference the picture.) Removed the wire leads and removed the old timer. Check the wires to make sure they were in good condition. Inserted wire leads into new timer and screwed it back to the front panel and reattached the top back cover panel. Put knob back on with the indicator at the 12 o’clock position. Done and the dryer works perfect fully. It took less then 15 minutes from pulling out the dryer, doing the repair and pushing the dryer back into position. The hardest part was removing over tightened screws.
