Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
Ensure your washer fills correctly with this genuine water inlet valve, designed to regulate the flow of hot and cold water during each cycle. This essential component opens and closes at the right time to deliver the proper water levels for washing. Replacing a faulty valve can resolve issues such as the washer not filling, overfilling, leaking, or failing to provide the correct water temperature. Installation is straightforward—disconnect power and water supply, remove the old valve, and secure the new one in place for reliable performance.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

My washing machine doesn't fill/or start to put water in, it will spin and discharge water, the lid sensor is fine and the timer seems to be fine, water lines/filters are good, how do i check if it's the pump or the direct drive?
For model number WTW57ESVW1
Hello Ryan, Thank you for the question. This sounds like an issue with the inlet valve, PartSelect Number PS11749611. You can test with a multi meter to see if it is getting 120 Vac. Hope this helps!

When we set the water to kool for colored clothes we get hot water only
For model number wtw58esvwd
Hello Jery, thank you for your question. If the unit is set to cold water, and you're only getting hot water there are two parts I would recommend testing/replacing. You will want to test the SWTCH-TEMP Part Number: PS11749685 as well as the water inlet Valve part number WPW10175893. I hope this helps!

My machine does not fill with water.Hoses or filters are not clogged. With the machine plugged in i get line voltage to the common wire to both solenoids with the terminals disconnected. If the solenoids are connected there is line voltage at all 4 terminals. When i check the ohms across the solenoid terminals, no wires connected, i get a reading of .801 k ohms for cold and .785 k ohms for hot. From what i've read here i'm confused as to whether the valve is bad or not. My wife ran a load and it worked fine the next load no water.

Hi Carl,
Thank you for your question. If the washer is not filling with water, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which ones are causing the issue. You will need to check the pump, the lid switch and the direct drive water pump. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
