$48 for new part, 50 minutes start to finish to install, fewer than 10 cuss words. A total success!
A youTube video helped with the installation, along with the schematic of the interior of the oven.
I'm sure it would have been $200 if we had called a repairman. Plus we did it on our time, not waiting for an appointment. The part came quickly.

Oven will not heat or broil. Controls do work. Happened after cleaning cycle. Thermal fuse?
For model number Kebk101sss00
Hello Homer, thank you for your question. Yes, the Thermal Fuse would be a logical part to replace. Keep in mind that even though the controls appear to work, the Electric Control PS11752581 does more than one function. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you.
Hello, when i press bake and set temperature to 450 f, the oven starts preheating and as soon as it gets close to bake temperature it stops a few degrees shy. When i press stop and bake again it would show a much lower temperature and would start preheating again and then it would stop 2 or 3 degrees before reaching the set temperature again. I checked the resistance of the temperature sensor and it’s at 1.118 ohms. What could be the problem here? Thanks!
For model number KEBK101SSS04
Hi Dimitri,
Thank you for your question. If the oven is not heating correctly, then the issue is likely with the oven sensor, sometimes called the oven thermostat, and you will need to check it with a multi-meter. When testing the sensor with a multi-meter, the sensor should be tested at room temperature and it should be unplugged from the oven. You will need to measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. Replace the oven sensor if the reading is less than 900 Ohms or more than 1200 Ohms. If this checks out fine, you will need to check the electronic control board, both oven elements and the wiring between these parts to see which once is causing the issue. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.

The microwave doesn’t heat well, also missing the glass tray. How do i troubleshoot the issue? Thanks so much.
For model number KEMS308SSS04
Hello Xochilt, Thank you for contacting us. I have researched the model you have provided and have found the part you are looking for is PartSelect Number PS12728515 for the glass cooking tray. I suggest testing the thermostats for the heating issue. PartSelect Number: PS11731225, PS11748600 and PS1491660. You can test the thermostats with a multi meter to check for continuity. Hope this helps!
House power went out (during a rain storm) during double oven cleaning cycle. After power restored, upper oven elements don't heat, but lower oven elements do. Possible thermal fuse blown?
For model number KEBS208SSS04
Hello Bob, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the thermal fuse protects the oven from damage in the event of an electrical short or overheating. We would recommend replacing the temperature sensor, part number PS11748765, to fix the issue. It measures the temperature inside the oven. We hope this solves your problem!
