The ice bucket had a cracked track
I had to pull the old ice bucket out, remove the front cover and the ice churner from the old bucket. The churner had to be installed onto the new ice bucket, then the front cover had to be snapped back on to the front of the ice bucket. Finally, the new bucket was slid into place. The whole process was relatively easy for a non-mechan

ice maker leaking water causing ice build up
replaced ice maker and ice bucket with really no problems while watching repair video. had ice making within hours and is working wonderful.
Received a repair quote for 234 dollars from a vendor recommended by Jenn-Air. By ordering through partsselect, I paid approximately 35 dollars for the parts, including shipping charges. The repair instructions were simple to follow and it took me about 30 minutes to replace both parts.

Motor turns good, when I add the Assembly makes 1turn then it begins to make a bumping sound
For model number ASD2622HRW
Hello Larry, thank you for reaching out. You will need to empty the ice bin and make sure there are no small particles built up in the bottom of the ice bin that have frozen together and seized the auger. Use hot water to remove any sediments and re-try. If this does not help, you may need to replace the auger motor, part number PS11743528. We hope this is helpful!
