Lower door opens 180*. Is there a stop or insert that restricts how fast and far door opens.
For model number WRT541SZDW00
Hello Joe, Thank you for the question. There would be no insert sorry. This would normally indicate the Hinge Bracket is damaged or worn and needs to be replaced. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
My refrigerator door is not staying closed. Will a new washer shim WP489467 replacement be the solution?
For model number ET1CHMXKQ09
Hello Andrew, thank you for your query. You may need to replace the door gasket, part number PS323895, to fix the issue. It is used to seal the refrigerator door when closed to keep the cool air inside and the room air out. We hope this sorts out your problem!
When putting the doors back on, the bottom fridge door is misaligned? Is there a part missing like washer or insert?
For model number W6RXNGFWQ01
Hi Alexis, thank you for reaching out. Yes, the washers could be missing. There are 2 washers on the door hinges in the fresh food section door. Both the upper side and lower side door hinge washers are part number PS11742705. These are sold individually. We hope that helps!
