Was easy to install after we straightened it out, works great
So far so good, the frig is back to normal temp. It had been freezing in the back and water dripping on to the bottom. the gasket came in a huge flat box but had nothing to hold it in place, so it was all bent up when it arrived. would it be so hard to attach it to a piece of cardboard to keep it flat? other than that everything was fine.

Perfect Refrigerator Door Gasket
Perfect size refrigerator door gasket. I was not crumpled because it was sent on a rectangular box that fit the product they sent me. I followed the video instructions provided from PartSelect website. I gathered all instrument needed to install by myself. I did not have to soak it in a warm water as shown in other you tube videos. Thank you very much the available parts you sell.

Got the part quicker then expected and easy to install
The part I needed, a refrigerator door seal, was actually discontinued but we have another refrigerator, different brand even, that matched the dimensions, so I took a chance and it fit perfectly.

Arrived late and was damaged
It took almost two weeks to be delivered and the cardboard shipping box was damaged along with the part. I installed it anyway, but two of the corners were damaged and didn't fit well and I don't think I'm getting a good seal all the way around the door. This part cost $120.

Rerigerator was leaving a lot of condensation on top shelf in refrigerator.
Removal of the door gasket went quite fast. First i needed a 8mm wrench. That what I didn't have. Got the socket set, not the wrench. Tried adjustable wrench, went slow. I slowly got the bolts out. Putting the gasket on was slow. Then I get to the last corner, was awful for me. I finally get it on. Putting the freezer door back on 1st we

After 17 years, the old door gasket was split and showing signs of mold
The gasket has an inner lip that fits over the edge of the door plastic liner. The old gasket was removed by pulling it straight out, in the plane of the door. Try not to pull sideways as it could crack the door liner, which gets brittle with age. The new liner had a brown magnetic strip, which holds the door closed, and this fits behi

A flat blade screwdriver can be used to pry away the liner to insert the new seal. Once you have worked in the lower edge, install both sides, and then the top. Some juggling side-to-side may be needed for an exact fit

Replaced Freezer Door and Refrigerator Door Gaskets
!st removed the doors from the unit, then laid them on the floor. Next, on a long side of the door, cut through the gasket so I could pull it off the door in one piece without separating the door liner from the outer door. Frost-free freezer was frosting up
First I cut the gasket-fip with the wire cutters. Then I removed the gasket by pulling it away from the center if the door (not perpendicular to the door). I placed the new gasket over the door, secured the corners first, then pressed the rest of the gasket into place.

Getting water on shelves, sometimes it freezes. Ice maker is not hooked to water. I tested the gasket to fridge seal with a piece of paper and it seemed a lot weaker than the fridge to freezer door seal. Will this stop the water collecting on the shelves or is there another problem. Freezer seems normal--no ice or frost on walls.

Hello and thank you for writing.
It is quite possible that a damaged or faulty gasket lets air in the fridge which creates condensation, so it might be a great idea to replace this defective part. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.

Will a new seal stop the door from opening 2 inches on it own and some times feels like you have push it shut the last 2 inches will not order parts till I hear from you
For model number CT21GKXPQ01
Hi Ray, Thank you for the question. The gasket can be one of the issues but I also suggest checking the hinges and the washers to make sure they are intact and now wore down or bents. The door needs to sit level in order to close properly. Hope this helps!

After having had the frig cleaned, the interior aspect of the gasket has partially separated (from the outer middle aspect of the door) which now doesn’t close fully on its own without intentionally pushing it shut. Also, the suction is weak, although it does close fully when pushed. Can this be repaired/resealed/glued?/
The estate model I have is white. If need be, do you have a white gasket replacement part or know where to get one? Would it require an expert or can I do this on my own?
Also do you think my food is in jeopardy until this gets resolved?
Thank You!
For model number TT21AKXKT03
Hello Karen, thank you for getting in touch. You will need to replace the door gasket to fix the issue. It can not be repaired when it is partially separated. Replacing the refrigerator door seal is usually a relatively easy process, so you can do it yourself. The door gasket, part number PS323895, in beige color, is only listed for your model. We hope this sorts out your problem!
