Door Shelf Bin WP2223860

Looked up the part on the partselect diagram, ordered it and it came really quickly. Popped the broken ones out and put the new ones in. It took me longer to take the contents out of the shelves in the door, than it did to fix the shelves!

(Totally understandable—things happen). She rectified the situation quickly and the following day, the other part was on my doorstep.
I really like this company’s response in having and delivering any parts I have ever ordered. Now I think of them first before thinking I have to replace an entire machine.

I opened the box with the new bins, replaced the broken ones with the new ones.

Pulled out the old and inserted the new, took no brains and 1 minute

I got the right part and the installation was pretty straightforward.

I slid out the old shelf and slid in the new one. It arrived the day after I ordered it. Really expensive but great service.

applied clear plastic packing tape on the inside of the bins to re-enforce the poor construction and hopefully add life to the part. Remove the old part and replaced with fortified part by slipping into place.

I had to purchase two shelves and adjustable brackets - though I only needed the slidign glass shelves . Customjer service rep was helpful and pleasant, though the replacements shelves did not bear the Kitchenaid Logo or frosted scheme on glass shelves (I requested and was informed that the replacement shelves would match my Superbra) - O ... Read more therwise, parts, when available, were shipped and arrived in well packaged boxes and not damaged. Parts were cheaper than Kitchenaid, though I would call Kitchenaid first to inquire about matching parts prior to ordering from partselect, if that matters to the buyer...Matching shelves may not in fact be available from manufacturer due to age of appliance.
