Washer Timer WP22001024

1) Removed the two top screws to the control panel of the washer, 2) gently push / swung the control panel forward toward the front of the washer, 3) removed the middle knob cover, removed small interior lock which enable me to remove the whole knob component from the timer, 4) unplugged the top and bottom timer (wires) connections inside ... Read more the control panel, 5) removed the two screws holding the timer to the control panel. 6) then screw the new timer in place, re-plugged all the wiring connectings, installed the front knobs and metal lock, position the control panel back in place and secured it with the two top screws. removed screws holding the control board, unplugged the 2 wiring harnesses that hold all the wires connecting to the timer... next remove the cap on the timer button, then removed clip that released the spring and information button as far as which wash cycle and what not.. then there is 2 screws holding the timer in place. remo ... Read more ved those and the assembly came right out.. reversed the process when the part came and walla,, runs like new again.........
