Hi Bill, Thank you for the question. If the belts were the issue the appliance will still run but the drum woudl not move. If the appliance dose not start the wash cycle after it fills you may have a defective timer. The timer advances the appliance through the cycles. Hope this helps!

Hello Randy, thank you for writing. This is an indication of a faulty Lid Switch. The fuse is connected to the Lid Switch and tells the washer if the lid is opened or closed. Replacing just the Fuse will not fix it. This Lid Switch part number PS11738787 is the compatible replacement for your model. Good luck with your repair!

Hi Denise, Thank you for your question. The water level switch is a pressure activated switch that is used to determine the correct water level in the tub. This part is normally located behind the control panel and will have a hose or air dome tube that connects it to the tub. On washers that use an electronic control, this switch may be located at the sump area below the tub. As the water fills in the tub it will compress the air in the tube and push against a diaphragm inside the switch. The switch will control the water inlet valve and turn the valve off at the correct water level. If the tube has a leak or is plugged, not enough pressure may be created to activate the switch and the washer may overfill. If the switch is defective it may also cause the machine to overfill. To determine if the switch is bad, you should first eliminate the air dome hose as a problem. Look for signs of cracks or worn areas on the hose. Remove the hose and submerge in water. Seal one end and blow air into the other end and look for bubbles. Check for an obstruction in the hose as well. If the air dome hose appears to be ok, then the water level pressure switch may be defective. Inspect the switch for signs of a mechanical defect or debris plugging the hole in the inlet nipple. To test the switch contacts for continuity with a multi-meter, you will need to apply the proper amount of air pressure to the air dome tube and then look for the switch to go open circuit at that level. The easiest way to do this is to start the washer and allow it to fill to the normal level and then remove the power cord. Locate the pressure switch and remove the wires from the correct terminals and then perform the continuity test. There should be infinite resistance or an “open circuit” when the water level is correct. If not, then the switch is defective. There are some other parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will also need to check the water inlet valve, the air tube for tub fill volume, the hose clamps, the hose washers and screen inserts, and the lid check switch. I hope this helps. Hi Shelly, Thank you for your question. If the washer will not start, we recommend checking the lid switch assembly for continuity with a multimeter on the Rx1 setting. Before removing and checking the switch, please unplug the washer from the electrical outlet. Place the multimeter's probes on the switch’s terminals. You should receive a reading of infinity. With the probes still on the terminals, press in on and hold the switch’s button, your reading should change to zero or roughly zero. If your test results differ from those above, you will need a replacement door switch. We hope this helps!

Hi Rob, thank you for your question. There is a spring release mechanism underneath of the control panel on the right and left hand corners. All you have to do is take a pair of pliers and squeeze each spring while gently tugging on the panel to pull it out of place on one side. Then you do the same to the other side and the panel can be pulled open. Good luck with your repair.
