Dryer gets hot and shuts down. We’ve cleaned vents. After sitting for 10 minutes or so we hear a “click” and dryer will restart and run until it happens again. Trying to diagnose. Any suggestions?

Hello Robert, thank you for your inquiry. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend replacing the high limit thermostat, part number PS12073907, to fix the issue. It shuts off the heating element or burner when the dryer overheats. Glad to be of help!
