Fridge part is too cold, what is the procedure I should follow to find the wrong parts?

Hello Bryan, Thank you for the question. We suggest checking the Damper Assembly to make sure it is opening and closing properly and not stuck in a open position allow to much cold air through. We also suggest testing the Defrost Thermostat. The best way to do this is to remove the thermostat from the refrigerator so you can control the temperature of the sensor. You can let the sensor warm up to room temperature. With the sensor warmed up to room temperature the sensor should read approximately 6.2K Ohms at 68°F. With the thermistor submerged is a glass full of ice water, the sensor should be very close to 32°F which should read approximately 16.3K Ohms. If the values that you are getting are far off from these readings, then the sensor is bad and should be replaced. We hope this helps!
the temperature settings for both the refrigerator and freezer sides change by themselves, when I reset them they randomly change on there own again, I have tried unplugging it for 10 minutes but didn't help, not sure what part to replace?

Is this part located in the freezer behind ice maker and is this a cause of code sy -ef

Hello Jon, thank you for your inquiry. PS1146084 is not compatible with your model LGHS2665KF0. If you are experiencing an SY EF error code, we recommend replacing part PS1526073. This is the Refrigerator Evaporator Fan Motor. I hope this information helps!

Storage side is too cold, thermistor was replaced 4~5 years ago, should i replace it again ?

Thank you for your question. If your freezer section is too cold, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the air damper assembly, the thermistors, the defrost thermostat and the evaporator fan motor. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!
